What… no testimonials?

Apologies. I realise this probably counts as clickbait. However, it does give me a chance to explain.

Like many organizations that accredit therapists, the National Society of Talking Therapies (of which I’m a registered member) doesn’t allow testimonials.

This is partly for reasons of confidentiality, which is so fundamental to the success of therapy. But it’s also because no two clients are completely alike – each person follows a unique journey and needs a different treatment plan. Testimonials, which essentially imply that “because this worked for me it can work for you” can therefore be seen as inherently misleading.

The best way to find out if I’m the right therapist for you? Contact me to arrange a free, 15-minute, no obligation phone or Zoom chat. I really look forward to meeting you.
